The most popular forms of Vlogging are usually understood to be creating a video of yourself, facing the camera, with ome inserts… where you talk on a particular subject such as reporting or reviewing a product, a topic, a ‘Hot-Take’ or an event.

It does increase viewership, as the vlogger is more spontaneous, and more likely to make mistake, as the vlogger stands there without the help of editing and cherry-picking the ‘best bits’ of its performance.
It does also increase engagement with the content, as the commentary sections of the VLOG usually go bezerk and scrolls down with speed.

#RULE3: RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH … !!
Browse the internet, Google Trends and all that, but mostly avoid using technical words without explaining or researching their meanings. Your audience will THANK YOU, for clarity and “infotainment” value…
* CROWDSOURCE CONTENT/IDEAS from your online community :
Use the comment section to bounce off conversations already started by your audience
Observe the CLASHES, the Trolls, …it’s all GOOD MATERIAL for a future show: YES!
—> Don’t run away from “controversy”: It’s only Human… after all…
#RULE4: Focus on a central idea
Have your central idea, in your title or headline, that will help for SEO purpose and also let the audience know beforehand, if they want to commit to your content!
However, you have the right to SEGWAY in different topics, or even better have a different section! —> Make sure that you will announce it at the TOP of the podcast, that’s it ! = RESPECT YOUR AUDIENCE !!
#RULE5: RESPECT YOUR AUDIENCE AND BUILD AN ONLINE COMMUNITY

PLATFORM : Use #Whatsapp, #DikaLO, emailing, and data management setup, like excel spreadsheet, to be first reliant on self, to connect with your online crowd !!
#RULE6: BE CONSISTENT
Adopt Regular schedules (Every Wednessday, Every months, Every two weeks,..) - Human beings have habits and nothing HURTS them more than breaking away from habits, and expectations !!
